who.

Ed Markus, Partner - FOPC

After an auspicious beginning on the Atlantic City Boardwalk marketing the newest hot product of its time - "Toast-Tight" a device for making toasted pies in a campfire - Ed Markus was destined for success!  His sincere charm, wit and eclectic style propelled him into many occupations; and his 54 year career focused on his amazing ability to individually care for each and every client.  It has proven to be the underlying theme in Ed's business practices; beginning in his parents' food market, carrying over to his restaurant The 20th Street Cafe, his catering business Occasions, and finally when he founded Event Navigators in 1992.

This amazing evolution of business savvy, people skills and a genuine sense of caring-for-everyone persona culminated in the creation of his rather unique event planning and production company. Ed's day-in-and-day-out positive, upbeat, unflagging, friendly and warm attitude motivates vendors and partners alike to achieve their goals for his clients - no matter what! Have you hugged your Event Navigator Ed today?

David Wagner, Partner - FNPC

David Wagner modestly began his event production career (unbeknownst to him) while planning his Junior Prom at Halifax Area HS in 1977. No paper flowers and streamers for him - no, he and his Co-Chair set out to drape the entire gymnasium (on a slim budget of $500) in a WWII, surplus cargo parachute providing an indoor bedoin retreat for "Midnight at the Oasis" - sand, palms and water included."They" said it couldn't be done...David had the vision to persevere and make it the most successful and talked about Prom in the history of the school!

Senior year at HHS (bear with us, there is a reason for this continued reminiscence) 17 year old David eschewed the usual Senior Class Trip to NY City or Washington, DC - no, he - as Senior Class President - proposed a trip to Montreal Canada! Faced with opposition from all angles about the journey and it's costs, he devised an equal opportunity hoagie selling program whereby the more hoagies you sold, the more cash commissions you earned towards your trip to Montreal (pushback from the "have-nots" vs. the "haves" successfully quelled!) After a brief presentation before the School Board, they were convinced all would be fine under David's watchful eye! He nogiated a fair, all-inclusive, 4 day package price with Teacher's Tours, Inc. and almost 90% of the Senior class took that bus trip north and had a blast at the Loews La Cite Hotel!

Flash forward to the present and those same ideals and formulas prevail while planning and producing events for David's clients - start with a vision or an idea - no matter the client, location, season or theme – research and gather information, question and follow up repeatedly, and carry out the mission in a professional, fair-minded manner.

What does David do outside of the office?

Supports the Human Rights Campaign and the LGBT Community at large

Voraciously reads periodicals and books

Hones his skills as an amateur oenophile and spirit enthusiast

Enjoys exotic cuisines from around the world - especially Indian, Ethiopian, Japanese & Vietnamese

Follows pro tennis as an avid fan - go Roger Federer!!

how.

Our clients hire us because we know how to solve their problems and alleviate their (organization's) pain...

Do you or your staff spend too much time at your events worrying about sub-contractors showing up on time, performing like you planned or staying within your budget?

Could you or your staff be spending more time with your donors and possibly turning them into major donors?

Do you have too many events on your annual calendar?

Are you planning an event and have no idea where to begin?

If you answered yes to any of the above, call 610.649.6330 immediately!

Many event producers (not party planners) can manage your event and solve problems by using a basic outline of hiring and overseeing sub-contractors.
